The war meta is standing. Contested sectors aren’t just maps to fight in: they change owner, and that owner is decided by what you do inside them.
War Points
Every activity adds War Points to your faction in the sector where it happens. By far the heaviest is shooting down an enemy player; the lightest is farming stray Custodians, so the scoreboard isn’t dominated by whoever grinds NPCs the longest.
| Activity | Points |
|---|---|
| Enemy player shot down | 25 |
| Guardian Nexus destroyed | 150 |
| Custodian base core | 100 |
| Custodian tower | 15 |
| Custodian hunter | 5 |
| Custodian NPC | 3 |
| Asteroid destroyed by fire | 1 |
| Drone mining batch | 1 |
Structure rewards are split in proportion to damage dealt by each faction — they don’t go to whoever lands the final blow.
Conquest happens live
Every five minutes the server evaluates all sectors and the sector goes to whoever holds the most points at that moment, provided they lead their rival by at least 60 points. Crossing into the lead mid-interval achieves nothing: you have to hold it until the cut.
That buys two things at once: a front that moves while you play, and a structural ceiling on abuse — at most one change of ownership per sector every five minutes, and a 605 to 601 never announces anything.
To stop players trading kills with alternate accounts, repeatedly killing the same player yields decreasing points: 100%, then 50%, then 25% within a fifteen-minute window.
Days, weeks and seasons
The 01:00 daily close does not decide ownership: it is the snapshot for the weekly count. Each faction scores one point per sector it holds and the daily scoreboard resets to zero, so every day offers a real chance to come back. Conquest, on the other hand, persists: a sector only changes hands if someone takes it at a cut.
At the end of the week, the faction with more points earns +5% damage for the whole following week; the loser gets +5% XP as a war effort — a consolation that doesn’t grow the combat snowball. Seasons run four weeks.
Bonuses follow the owner
Holding sectors improves the yield of your entire faction, on any map: drone mining, Nexite earned and materials. Bonuses apply the moment you take the sector and leave with it if you lose it.
Every bonus in the game is modelled the same way — type, magnitude, scope and expiry — and bonuses of the same type always stack additively under a global cap. Adding a new one later, whether an event or a consumable, is one more row, not a new system.
